Yacht Blue Heron Details

www.yachtblueheron.blogspot.com
This link will take you to our other blog which provides a whole lot more detail about the yacht and building of our dingy. The dingy is called MYST (MY spare time) because it took Lindsay so long to make that when we see it he can say "There goes my spare time!"

Hi Lyn and family,
Glad to hear you are finally underway.
I am sitting at Victoria Uni in my office on Friday night at 7:31pm (actually it is Friday 13th so hope I haven't got a ticket on the car) and have just sent off a paper for checking to my supervisor in Canada. Hoping to get it accepted at a conference in Hawaii - never know your luck. Well - what a great way to spend my day - hunched over the machine all day (actually I quite enjoy this PhDing lark - except for the drop in income). Will subscribe to your blog at some date when my two papers are off and the pressure is expected to reduce (it wont thought :-)). Lecturing in progamming next trimester and have to get my head around that soon.
Have fun. Diane (Strode from Wellington)

Hi Lyn, Lindsay, Hamish & Kate, bon voyage!! Glad to hear that the weather has finally settled enough for you to set sail for your new first destination- Tonga. Have safe & enjoyable trip. I will eagerly watch your progress and of course follow the info shared through the family networks. Be safe and enjoy. Murray

Hi all, great to see & hear you are enjoying your travels and of course safely so. With rain hail and snow hitting us yet again the thought of warm sunny Fiji is very appealing. Love the pics and glad to hear the kids are enjoying all experiences as no doubt the parents are to.
Thinking of you - Murray

Hi Blue Heron and Crew, Hope all is well. Chubasco has a clean bum and ready to go. We will be staying closer to home this year but it will be good to get bck on the water.
Crew training with Theo ( 5 ) and
Daniel ( 3 ) goes well. Samuel ( 15 mths) definately has potential as a grinder.
Classes at the Studio have been full on and fun.
All going on 'hold for Summer. Pohutakawa's are flowering early.. a positive sign for a settled summer.
Christmas blessings
Jenny
